This elegant centerpiece is the fifth of a set of seven. The base was salvaged from a root wad of an ornamental bush that outgrew its place in a sidewalk garden. The top is the largest of five slabs taken from a red cedar burl. Its S-shaped curves perfectly compliment the undulating curves and twists of the root base. Both the root and the burl top are coated multiple times in a clear glossy finish which shows off the natural contrasting colours of both the root base and the red cedar burl. An exquisite piece from salvaged wood ready to adorn any table.
